Meet Tania Silver-Owner & Artistic Director
Dance has been my passion since the age of three. I began my dance journey at Victoria’s School of Dance in Savannah, Georgia, where I received a strong technical foundation and developed a lifelong love for the art of dance. Those early years inspired a passion that has guided me throughout my career as both a performer and educator.
In 2001, I turned my dream into reality by opening Sassy Steps School of Dance & Baton, where I spent years teaching dancers of all ages and abilities. While I have loved working with every age group, my heart has always held a special place for introducing young children to the joy of dance. Teaching preschool dancers has allowed me to help build confidence, creativity, discipline, and a love for movement from the very beginning.
With more than 30 years of teaching experience, I believe dance is about so much more than learning steps. It’s about building character, developing confidence, encouraging perseverance, and creating a positive environment where every child feels valued and supported. My teaching philosophy combines strong technical training with kindness, encouragement, and a genuine love for helping dancers reach their full potential.
Today, I am excited to begin a new chapter as the founder and Artistic Director of Next Level Dance Company. My vision is to create a studio where dancers of all ages can receive exceptional instruction in a welcoming, family-centered environment. Whether a student is taking their very first dance class or pursuing competitive dance goals, every dancer will be challenged to grow, inspired to dream big, and encouraged to become the very best version of themselves—both inside and outside the studio.
